Weekend Of 11/29/08 Update
December 2, 2008 – 12:00 pmWe got to Dad’s around 10 AM. Stacy was in New York this weekend so it was just Brian, Uncle George, and me.
We decided the best thing to do would be to let him go. We originally decided to let him go at Sandy Point but saw some nice woods by some water on the way. He is so cute!
Progress on racoon:
Date Started: Aug 2008
Estimated Time: 4-10 months
Actual Time: 4 months
Players Involved: Brian, Uncle George, Robbie
Status Of This Project: Completed (hopefully another racoon won’t get in the garage)
After we got back we decided to take down the lamp posts leading up to the house. Uncle George has a friend who wants to buy them so we had to be careful taking them down. The original plan was, of course, taking them down by force. Uncle George and Brian decided to use heat to melt the medal and take them down carefully.
The realtor we’re working with called around 1 after we got finished taking all the lamp posts down. We had to leave to check out some houses.
We decided to actually come down that Sunday to help with the pool room. Uncle George wanted to clean out the pool room and move the stuff so it would be easier to take to the dump. We also destroyed some tables and stuff for fire wood.

After we rearranged stuff in the pool room, we decided to tackle the remaining stuff in the basement. There was a big pile of stuff we had collected that goes with the house. Some of it wasn’t useable to we decided to ditch it. We also went through the big pile/room of car parts Dad had.
We got it to a decent pile size now. The rest is junk. We were very happy because we found some 1970 Barracuda parts like a dash board! We also have a lot of spare parts for my 1969 Camero Pace Car! There was also some parts for Stacy’s Corvette.
Next week, I believe, we’re going to be finishing up Marie. We’re going to install the new vanity for the basement apartment bathroom and do her kitchen floor. After that, we’ll tackle upstairs.
