It was a crazy trip getting there. Megan and Matt and Bri went to the amazing wedding. I met up with a former coworker and met other cool people. I only stayed four nights total in the states but I made the most of it. After Tampa, we went to Tampa then to New Orleans to hang out with Megan and Matt. got ready<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick breakfast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got shuttle &amp; ran into Lisa again<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got to Lisbon Airport &amp; long check-in process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dinked around airport waiting for flight; Got crappy yogurt bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First plane to Philly; slept and watched movies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Had to go through TSA again<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once in Philly tried desperately to find sim Cards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flight to Charlotte<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once in Charlotte plane delayed to Tampa; ran for nothing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got into Tampa &amp; got bag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taxi to hotel &amp; chatted with taxi driver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Megan &amp; Matt met us in hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checked into room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Megan &amp; Matt &amp; I went to Voodoo brewery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pizza &amp; beer flights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to hotel for sleep<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunday, February 16, 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Got up early &amp; took a bath<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Went downstairs for breakfast but no free breakfast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waited around in hotel Then got ready<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Realized I forgot a few things &amp; bad shorts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Met Megan &amp; Matt in lobby<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waited in lobby for limo but limo never came<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decided to walk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We were early so got memossas at the bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waited for elevator to open<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wedding ceremony<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hordervs &amp; drinks &amp; chat with Tony &amp; Mike<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dancing &amp; drinks &amp; food &amp; awesome time at wedding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After wedding got limo back to hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick shower &amp; out for more drinks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Went to bar but they were closed so Went to another bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Megan headed back to hotel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chatted &amp; drinks with Matt &amp; Bri<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to hotel for sleep<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monday, February 17, 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Got up early &amp; took a bath<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got ready &amp; met Megan &amp; Matt in lobby&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uber to airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breakfast at airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flight to NOLA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got Jeep and went to Megan&#8217;s mom&#8217;s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saw them for a few minutes then i went with Megan to get Rex<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matt and Bri got Rhett and a sim card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Met back at Megan&#8217;s place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Went to lunch with everyone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Picked up a king cake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Went over to Megan&#8217;s grandmother&#8217;s for hang out &amp; dinner&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to Megan&#8217;s place for kid stuff &amp; went to apartment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bri stayed at apartment but I went back to Megan&#8217;s to hang out &amp; chat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Megan dropped me off later<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuesday, February 18, 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Got up early &amp; reorganized clothes and suitcase<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Got laundry together &amp; showered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matt picked us up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coffee at Megan&#8217;s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Megan got back from dropping Rex off we went to ferry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Took ferry and went to Marti Gras world by their bus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Did the tour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Went to the mall and had lunch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crawdads &amp; walked around since lunch took so long we couldn&#8217;t do another tour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bought sunglasses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Took ferry back &amp; picked up both kids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the evening went out to market place to eat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to Megan &amp; Matt&#8217;s for drinks &amp; hang out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to apartment for sleep<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wednesday, February 19, 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Got up &amp; packed to leave<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fell asleep again before Matt picked us up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to their house<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Matt made coffee and showed off his 3d printer&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Played boat game with Megan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Had to check into flight &amp; stressed because of travel &amp; seating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Left &amp; stopped for po boy lunch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>i got dropped off at the airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When there got on wifi and my flight was delayed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walked up to get my ticket &amp; they made me check in my bag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walked around airport and had 4 beers at the bar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set alarm &amp; waited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waited to board flight &amp; it kept being pushed back<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Middle seat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Landed in Canada &amp; had to run to next gate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport scanner didn&#8217;t work&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More running<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally got to plane to get onto Lisbon flight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bri and I went to the states for Arlene&#8217;s wedding.
