Some of these may very depending on the year so I&#8217;ll add the year that they happened. Here&#8217;s a list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>December 31\/January 1 (New Years)<\/strong> &#8211; Fireworks and a concert in the pra\u00e7a.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End of February\/Early March (Marti Gras time)<\/strong> &#8211; Carnival happens in Loul\u00e9 and other places in Portugal.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sunday, February 11, 2024 &#8211; Tuesday, February 13, 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunday, March 2, 2025&nbsp;&#8211; Tuesday, March 4, 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late March or Early April<\/strong> &#8211; Car derby which goes by all the major towns in the Algarve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late March or Early April (Easter) <\/strong>&#8211; Feira do Folar e Artesanato in S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Friday, April 18, 2025 &#8211; Sunday, April 20, 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Early May<\/strong> &#8211; Festival Dos Descobrimentos in the pra\u00e7a.
